Big man, small bike

I am a big man on a small bike,
My frame has outgrown it.

I wobble down the road
Courting uncertainly.

My compact, folding bike
Bought for efficiency and practicality,

Struggles beneath
The demands now made.

I have grown ridiculous
Swelling Alice-like upon it.

I am a big man on a small bike,
My rear may never recover.
