Thanks for that message. True I think it all lies with what is in accordance with one's heart and mind. At the moment though my mind on a logical level is making me think that to take up some form of self defence as a believer in Christ is to put one's stregnth in the flesh. Or like it is written in the psalms to put one's stregnth in one's own arm, and not in the spirit of God.

My heart on the other hand is saying: well why not?

On the issue of letting off some steam, i think that provided one is living out their Christian lives in a way they feel is pleasing to God, they can let off steam as situation arises. And Id like to think that this could be done creatively.
