s01e06a “Spectre (bonus)” – The Good Robot Andys
Only just watched this last week, was disappointed. I thought for a moment they were going to do something different. Very formulaic, I held out hope right till the end.
When they meet up in London, before the final sequence. I thought they were going spring another twist and make the daughter into bad guy. Spectre’s plan along was to fool Bond into destroying M16’s system for them since it rivals their own system. That would have been so much better! Waltz was good, but mostly wasted in this role.
Yes, it was meh. I wonder whether Kermode will be less polite about it once he’s not sharing a stage with the director. I was shocked how positive he was.
