Is anyone else getting "You are not authorised to perform this operation" type messages?
I seem to get them when I do a quick reply on this board.
Then they seem to go away again...

I was trying to reply with a quote but got the following error...
Fatal error: Smarty error: [in pnforum_user_reply.html line 11]: [plugin] modifier 'pnbbsmile' is not implemented (core.load_plugins.php, line 118) in /usr/home/gexpr/public_html/includes/classes/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1083
Problem at my end or yours?

Not sure. Sometimes I get random errors because some kind of cache has expired.

I always get that error when I try to edit a post or reply with a quote.

Try clicking Refresh and trying again. Works for me.

This is weird. I don't have time to try and fix this at the moment, and I'm getting a bit frustrated with the system (postnuke) that we're using, which seems to be rarely updated, and brings new bugs with each release.
I'd like to chnage to something else, but that would be a major undertaking, and I'm not sure what I should change to. Any ideas anyone?

I think I may have fixed the errors you were getting by upgrading the pnForum module. Let me know how you get on.

It edits fine now, but I can't get it to delete posts. Or do I just remove all the text?
No... apparently not. Well, not to worry.

Deleting should work. Do you get an error message?
I should really get to bed.

I click Edit/Delete and I get the edit window. There's no sign of what to do to delete the message, so I tried deleting the text in the window, but then it says I can't post the message because it's empty.

There's a little check box that says "Delete this post". Tick that and click "Submit".

Oh no there isn't. Unless it's invisible. I remember in the old days of the original set-up, the delete box didn't always appear.
