Did anyone (from the UK) watch Big Brother?
I thought Kate was the best and was really pleased and surprised. she won. Isn't it funny how it always seems to come down to a moral judgement? - the 'nicest' one i.e. doesn't ***** etc. always wins.

Haway! I though Jonny should win. Kate was nice but Jonny, apart form when he was really down in the dumps, was the best person in there. I guess ultimately I'm just happy Jade didn't win!

Did anyone else hear that the ex-housemates are still being told what they can and can not do. I heard on RI:SE this morning that Spencer was told he could not go out for a drink with Chris Moyles...
Do you think they signed their lives away or is BB just trying to protect those who are not used to the spot light??

I liked Kate.
And I wanted her to win because she was female.

Would anyone here apply for BB? I get the feeling that a lot of people would apply for the show not realising just how much it will affect their lives...
I mean look at all the negative newspaper coverage most of them have had. The fact that they have gone from unknown to C-List quite a big jump for someone who is not prepared for it.
Personally, although I watch the 'show' with half enjoyment and half morbid fascination I think the people who take part are very stupid to do so...
But hey, what do I know...

Is ok - I do have my password!
Just don't usually have it with me when I'm on the computer and last night I couldn't get out of the room to find it because my mother was moving furniture and had stacked it up in the doorway...

How long do you reckon BB will be able to keep controlling what they do and don't do???
Seems a little unreasonable.

I've changed my password now so it's something I can remember rather than random numbers - I didn't realize before that I could do that and just found out by accident...

M,
Glad to see you logging on....
I suppose it depends on the contract they all signed. I guess that only for the short term. I don't suppose people would sign away more than say one year of their lives.. would they??

Well I wouldn't but that doesn't mean they wouldn't. Suppose if they were really desperate to get on tv they might? But would be a bit silly.

Oh, and logging on again with remembered password! How cool is that?!
I clearly have no life though to have been here twice in one day...

There is desperate, then there is signing your life away for a year and then there is the spot form 'The Word'. Remember? Where people used to 'do anything to get on TV'.
Geez, That was gross, funny but gross...

Totally no.
I couldn't cope with having to be in enclosed space with all those people and having no escape. And that's without thinking about the whole publicity side.
Just no.

I'd never apply - too worried I'd come across like Tim.

I didn't like Tim.
I thought he was annoying.
But he seemed less annoying when he was outside the house.
