Monday morning, up at 5.45am, P's gone away for the week so here I am with only you lot for company.
Got a new walkman for my birthday (it was my birthday) along with some wicked CDs and DVDs.
Austin Powers is simply the funniest thing ever.

I'm glad your birthday was good. Do you feel better than you have been feeling recently? One of my favourite websites is http://www.jotto.com
I just like it. I don't know much about website design or anything, but I think it is a very clever website. It cheers me up. You should have the sound on, though.

Sort of on-topic - does anyone else really hate Monday evenngs? I live alone, and there's something peculiarly dismal about them - the week has only just started, there's never anything on telly, I've never got anything organised for a Monday; it's a sort of black hole.
Or perhaps it's just me

Yikes I thought I felt strange but after reading those websites I feel even weirder. Next time I'd better bring my headphones. As for Mondays, during the day I kind of feel like it's a gradual extension of the weekend. Most evenings are lonely and dead if my friends are too busy, but Monday seems to be a popular night for going to the pub, strangely enough, like tonight. I just can't bear to spend the evening without seeing someone though.
Happy (continued) Birthday! by the way.

Glad you ... erm ... liked the sites Mg.
Hi Rob, and welcome to GuiltyExpression! I hate Monday's when P's away like now (for the last 4 months and the next 2). Apparently Tuesday is the big day for suicides. Monday evening is a killer.
I like Never Mind the Buzzcocks, but generally I work on

blatant plug.

You are one of the coolest people I know.
And I don't hate Monday nights but they are full for me - youth group and then prayer triplet and then usually finishing off planning assembly for Tuesday morning so I don't really have time to hate them!!!!!

I hate Monday mornings, having to go back to work, get up early which I am not very good at, see people who don't want to be seen, update the computer database that doesn't work. I've always thought they should give you Monday morning off to recouperate after the weekend. Top tip for Monday night, I like to record one of my favourite TV shows, something very classy like Dawsons Creek and watch it on Monday night.

RJD2 - now there is a man who can make music - Fantastic.
I don't really hate any day at the mo as they are all about the same - one flows into the next.

>>RJD2 - now there is a man who can make music - Fantastic.
I'll have to check him out. I found a clip on the web but someone's bust the headphones in the computer room here. One good thing though is I strayed onto some pages about Cabaret Voltaire - now there's a great group for making your head hurt. I feel like going home and putting them on now - "Why kill time when you can kill yourself" etc. etc.

I on the other hand really like Monday evenings. I'm away a lot of weekends so Monday is my recuperating from the weekend night and I like doing things like washing etc (Crazy fun life or what???). At the mo I meet with a group from church on a Mon which is really good - but would prefer to do that another night so I can do my washing. Sad but true. I dislike Sunday nights more - I am normally on the way home from seeing long distance boyfriend and realise it's at least another 2 weeks til I'll see him (So sad and soppy). And all I have to look forward to is work in the morning.
Though Cold Feet being on is improving Sun nights for me.
Please don't think that I am really as sad is this post makes me sound....
Janice
PS Andy have been dumb and can't make my login work - what should I do????

No, I understand really. I feel much better when I've been able to hoover and do the washing up and do my washing - it's about the only part of my life I can control...

I can't even get that far!!!
And as for making toast, I seem to have developed an inability to work our toaster... It is very sad. I think it hates me.
